Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Looking forward to retirement?

A younger colleague recently asked me how I managed to stay here for so many years. It was never ideal, but once upon a time this company still maintained a common sense, a level of professionalism and labor standards.
I am looking forward to retirement so much that I am counting days, but at the same time I feel sorry for the younger generation who are apathetically waiting for what will happen with each subsequent round of layoffs.

The turnover has been very high since I arrived 3 years ago. I had 3 managers in a 5 month span. While some else I know is now on his 6th in 7 month span. Sh–s crazy. Glad I’m no longer there, the stress was ridiculous.

It seems like most Centene employees that I've met so far haven't been with the company very long. Hit that 6 or 7 year mark and then layoffs. You're the first person that sounds like are over that year mark. At this point it seems like high turnover is the way things will be.
