So what are the current rumours for April 1st, anyone?
Another 8% NSI, or TMTS announcement?

Just go the personnel announcement intranet page to find the info.
It's because management hasn't a clue what they are doing and the ones managing the transition haven't a clue as to how to manage things. Look at corporate wide hiring freeze while all other O&G majors now continue to hire.
Regarding TMTS, still too watered down. Management has not been clear about specific changes and deliverables. Keep hearing lips flapping about transitioning low value work (equipment strategies etc.) and having challenging technical careers. They fail to mention anything about hiring happening is KL and how that impacts jobs at sites and campus. I think the lack of communication explains it all, more layoffs in the works

The family is pretty upset.

In April first they will announce who are the lucky ones to go pretend to work in the energy transition at the Low-Carbon solution company.
Make believe, story telling, and PR types high demand.

Benji will have the scoop. As usual, we’ll learn from the press before we hear from the bosses.

TMTS = Too Maligned To Survive!
I've heard both 8% and 10% for NSI rumors, who knows. But yeah, supposed to be finding out the # on April 1st.
I don't think TMTS is an "announcement" per se, we already know about it and are starting the transition. Going to be a slow and painful process, not a single day bomb-drop.
April Fool’s Day. And you would be the perfect poster child.
April One - 401K match is back / Bengalaru downsized / US employees locked in till 58 yr old.
April Twenty - deadline for retirement/PiP/Layoff responses. Texas secedes.
All in a dream.
