Thread regarding Imperial Oil Limited layoffs

More outsourcing

March 23rd. Seems announcements are coming to outsource more work to MSP. At some point, does this company understand that low cost solutions end up costing more in the long run?

"I think this is what XOM learned with their experience with the BSCs, in Brazil, Aregentina, Hungary, etc. People hated them at first, but now they are just shipping them more work, as they are a small fraction of the costs when compared to Canada / U.S."

Another disconnect management.

If you have dealt with any of the aforementioned locations, you would known about their incompetence.

Yes, low cost solutions end up costing more in the long run and short run. Everyone knows that Imperial management only think about themselves and their own stocks not about company’s asset. They will do anything for their own gain.

Well, to be fair, it will cost more in the short run. Once the guys are up to speed, it will cost less.
