Quantum - Social Media for Performance?

Can anyone explain why our personal performance needs to be tracked and maintained by a social media application?

It is a joke. We noticed the known folks who generally do zip but are professional socializers running around asking everyone to give them feedback in Quantum. Big joke and everyone is laughing about this in my organization. The folks who are too busy for this nonsense continue to concentrate on delivering and getting the job done and the last thing on their minds is canvassing for folks to enter niceties in some system. Everyone knows who gets the job done. They may not be the most popular but are the folks you want to work with and you want on your Team.

Makes me believe that one of our c-suite POS is on the BOD of the supplier and they put in the good word to HR.

How may years did we all complain that Amplify was a POS in the NPS surveys. Finally the C-suite listened and reduced Amplify to once a year verses twice a year. A 50% reduction in a big waste of time. Nah, they could not stand that!

Now the j3rkoffs come up with something that they want updated monthly? The company just keeps circulating round and round the c-app3r waiting for the final flush!

But the good news for me is due to Stinky's takeaways, I will only have to deal with this cr@p one time and I am out of this $hithole. All the contractors in India that will replace me won't have deal with this $hit!

If you look at Quantum’s client list their biggest name client was Buffalo Wild Wings until AT&T came along wanting to look like they care. -Why have a personal “development” program when it will not factor in to your compensation? Like the a rotary raises or lack thereof this year. This seems like a program for retailers working on commission and not a technical organization.

Speaking of collab zones. Though many of us were declared virtual office late last year and were told we would never return to the office post pandemic — as of today starting to hear some talk of them reversing that classification as they start to prepare for people to return to the office later this year. It was brought up in a meeting that I was in - nothing for certain but was told do not be surprised if they change their mind. Of course given the current office layout that many / most buildings have it makes sense some sort of changes to it would be required ( in my opinion) but who knows if T feels the same about that.

How are collaboration zones working out? Oh, another excuse to layoff more people.

Have fun drafting a DEI commitment. Read the article on the insider page titled “enter your 2021 commitments” for details.

2 years. And 2 because to only give it one year would mean serious egg on some HR VP's face.

Management are lemmings and whatever johnny come lately high pressure sales person sells ATT management the "best system to promote "employee engagement" is why we have these new systems.

Nothing is more a waste of time then trying to gamify HR . .. either your're productive and adding value or your not... all these b—s— systems are just rube-golberg ways to try to measure your motivation..... pointless and a waste a time, just add it to the pile of time wasters management at this organization does.

From what I see so far, this looks like another fad that will disappear in a year or two. I honestly don't see the value.

They underperform because they have to spend time learning new systems/processes every single year that provide zero value.

Because the company wants to know why workers underperform.
