Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Bonus checks

We had a meeting earlier today that informed us that Staywell in Florida will not be receiving bonuses as the other companies that’s under Centene. Anyone else hear the same thing?

I came over from Wellcare. And my boss told us we weren't eligible for bonuses until 2022. I sure wish they would have only sent the newsletter out to eligible employees. I sure had my hopes up

None of this makes sense! Why are they acting like they are broke. Just when I thought I couldn’t despise this company further😒

I am so sorry to hear that about your health plan....I'm surprised any of us are getting a bonus if the company is doing so badly they had to axe 3000 of us and 1500 open positions. None of this is logical.

We were told that Staywell wasn’t getting one after all the hard work many of us have done to bring these cases into compliance!! It’s not our fault that their operating in the red that’s a management issue!! You’re only as strong as your leaders.

I'm not sure of the reason, but I know in the past, Corporate and the health plans received bonuses at different times. Did they say you weren't getting a bonus at all? Or, just not when Corporate does?

Not sure. They may be choosing to issue bonuses just to employees under Corporate and not the state health plans. That would be unfortunate, especially given what this company has put employees through.
