Is there perhaps someone here who was disappointed when they first came into this industry, but decided to stay and in the meantime began to like it?
I imagined railroad industry a little differently and was disappointed for the first few months after I got the job. It may have something to do with the company itself, but I’m on the verge of giving up railroad and dedicating myself to a completely different business.

Yeah! Time to get out there as the only carman walking 118 cars in -30 degree wind-chill, and catch frostbite to make the rich richer! The days of your luxurious "warming up" are over!
Remember the first time you posted this? Apparently not cause you posted it twice. Maybe you need y0 daddy to help 😂
Remember the job you had before this? I’m not talking to you guys that got a job from your daddy fresh out of high school. But I’m pretty sure most of the people that came to the railroad hater their other job. You just got spoiled on the easy days at the railroad. Well those are over it’s time to pull up those boots and work.

“The new normal”. Lol. I’ll take lame buzzwords for $1,400. Trying to double this stimmy.
What the phuuuck? Are you a child ? If you think it’s greener on the other side, GO! Every industry that pays a decent livable wage are looking at ways to streamline business! This is the new normal in America, I don’t care who you’re employed by! You can get treated like sh– at any job you work at, it’s just not at the railroad, it’s everywhere! Quit or MAN UP! Be careful what you wish for🤡
Freight is garbage. Go passenger.
