This is confusing. It looks to me like Windstream is just adding all its new residential fiber customers to pad Windstream Wholesale's location counts.

What wholesale client is going to lease fiber to provide a homeowner service?

They’re counting every existing customer that had an adtran router and they replaced it with a Cisco. The smarter customers replaced windstream altogether. I feel bad for those who are stuck with WS as their best option.

Pretty sure it is gpon yeah. Also remember they aren't counting terminals they are counting addresses passed.

Theyve got to be counting all the gpon terminals. I know they sell wholesale through those now.

I wouldn't use any windstream service for any reason at all

@smk+19TWBB98 They are so busy raking in business with this announcement that it will be months before u get an answer! In fact, they’re going to have to hire thousands of new employees to handle all this, believe it, it’s all the truth.

I tried to call their wholesale group...3 week and counting without a response ...well I did get a lot of junk mail from LL
