Looks like Nokia will be cutting around 200 positions in Finland. This definitely doesn't bode well for the rest of us. I know there's an attempt to avoid layoffs right now but I'm less than confident it will be a success. Hopefully I'm worrying over nothing (which I've been known to do) but I don't think I am.

10k job cuts have just been announced. Nokia is a forever dying company, and with only very slim chances of saving itself from implosion. The Finnish will not cede control of the company to more competent management because of national pride. The result is never ending distress. All are making loads of money with 5G except Nokia - that says a lot. If you have the opportunity, jump ship - no need to wait for the bitter end.
