Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Oracle does not disclose cloud revenue separately. What are they hiding?

Weiss is particularly irritated by Oracle’s relatively low level of granular disclosure. “The reasons for the disconnect between strong Cloud growth and the lack of overall revenue growth remain hidden from investors by a notable lack of disclosure from the company,” he writes. “It is clear to us that there are still significant parts of the business in decline and weighing on overall growth, but without visibility into the relative sizing and growth trajectories of the growth versus declining businesses, investors are unlikely to give Oracle much credit for the bullish tone on the conference call, nor the advanced investments in the Cloud business.”

OCI revenue is not real revenue. It is 100% funny money generated by convoluted smoke and mirrors processes.

SC learned how to squeeze gold out of mergers, profits from layoffs, and real estate closing. The cloud numbers cannot be shown because they are composed of smoke. Blue smoke, coming out of the hardware chips.

If the street knew the story behind our cloud revenue, our stock would drop to 45.

If the Zoom deal was a big as they tried to make it to be, they would have started reporting cloud rev separately.

You mean bigger than zero?

SC could squeeze Gold Sovereigns out of granite, but has no idea of what it takes to run a Tech Company, especially a company that requires an investment of huge amounts of hardware and infrastructure for it to be competitive wit the big players.

Honestly, if they weren't willing to invest in that venture properly, they should have at least made nice with all those big players and tried to be their primary suppliers.
