Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us because you felt "unsafe". Meanwhile I see on social media you going to social gatherings with friends and traveling to "work" remote in some other state/country - so much safer right? Bonus points if you completely ignored suggested rotation schedules.
Because of you WFH policies will probably never be as relaxed.

I CANNOT wait to go back to the office too! I miss the commute and traffic, less time with my family, the useless meetings that require 5-20 minutes of chit-chat before discussing important topics, the hour and a half long lunches that force me to work late to make up for it, the 15 minutes it takes to get through the gate to park my car, the lack of gym time because of the commute, and, of course, the wearing of a mask while walking but for some reason not while at my desk.
The last year of working from home successfully obviously was a fluke. So get back to your desk everyone!

I cannot wait to go back to office full time. I am sure those with low visibility jobs will suffer in rankings this year. FACETIME with management is important to your career. Manager impressions are OFTENTIMES formed in accidental meetings in the halls or over lunch...More so than formal meetings because they se the REAL YOU.
This entire thread - with a couple exceptions - seems to be a Solo Effort (up thumbs included).

I went for a couple of week earlier in the summer when they forced us the first time. Half of my team got Covid, of course the official story was that none caught it at the office.
Working from home is more chilling. All you have to do is, put a nice movie, keep the mouse moving, and you will always be green on skype.
You signed up to work at EM, vote with your feet if you aren't happy. It's what I did, and I'm much happier because of it. I used to whine a lot like you, but I've found no amount will change EM. You need to put on big boy/girl pants (like I had to do) and make the change happen on your terms. We're all big boys and girls, do what's right for you!
I'll see y'all in Q2 when we are all forced to come back full time!
