We are so short staffed due to the horribly planned layoffs that we are now forced to do front line work full time AND our regular manager work.

Not sure why folks are having such a hard time understanding the peanut cluster that is Allstate these days. You’re working at a company that saw fit to give assessments to adjusters and appraisers but exempted QA auditors from being assessed. That should tell you all you need to know about the senior management and their decision making skills...
They need to trim more middle management fat.
I’m a manager and if any of you want my job you can have it.... I grateful mf’ers... I’m working 70+ hours a weeks to keep bs off your desk and no extra pay or thanks!!!
That’s the cost you pay for being an ineffective manager... an effective manager would figure out a way to stop the problem... but there aren’t many effective managers left at any level within Allstate these days..
I work in the property department and my manager was told they can’t ride with us or go to claims that are escalated complaints. My manager is doing the right thing and still helping us at the risk of losing their job. This manager was also on a call where the DSM was trying to put more work on their people and they refused to give names to help. They told the DSM it wasn’t fair that their people do their job and then are expected to take on other people work too. We need more managers like this that continue to do what’s right and puts people first.
Since joining Allstate, all I see is way too many managers at all levels and 5 different people on the same claim from processors, reps, managers, ECs, IOL, process people, quality auditors , etc. and they all have managers, and the managers have managers. Meanwhile, they all have to do self service IT and HR. How many people does it take to adjust a claim? 9-10, more?
Yeah..they’ve been taking statements, writing estimates and make liability decisions in claims for about 2-3 months now to help their weekly numbers . Not enough adjusters to work claims anymore .
- and it will only get worse... maybe next move will be 2nd tier management to the front line...
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Now we can see the managers in action and they can show us how it’s really done with their so-called expertise🤣
When you see the workload and conditions we are having to deal with on the front lines, please advocate for change.
Ha ha.
Nelson Muntz.
You thought managers were exempt from being screwed bwhaaaaaaa
Wonder when Tom and Glenn will have to do front line work?
Wow. What Dept is this?
About time the managers at this company did something besides hold emergency meetings.
