Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Pretty much missed that rapid career path! The only thing these two know about cars .
1) They are free
2) somebody else works on them

So ask yourself this do you honestly feel confident these two were elected to the board?

I worked briefly with Henry III. I’ll just say this - very nice guy, not particularly bright and not a hard worker. The thought of him having real executive power or getting a shot at CEO is something that should terrify every employee.

You can't hold the kids accountable for the sins of the father. No different than how the Fords were not held accountable for Henry's German medal. I know this will be down voted, but you never know what will happen. Sometimes it takes a good leader to acknowledge they don't know everything, but put the right people in charge. Worked for Henry 2, and if not for his acceptance of the Whiz kids, the company probably would not exist (GM and Chrysler were k–ling it post WW2). Fast forward to now, and Bill Ford Jr. was duped 3.5 times. 0.5 goes to Trottman, 1 goes to Nasser, 1 goes to Finkelman (Fields), 1 goes to Hackett. Time will tell what happens with Farley. You don't think these kids didn't witness the first hand slide growing up? Being born into this almost monarchy to now being a meer shell of what it was. I mean this is some wishful thinking so hard to say where their hearts are at. One thing I will say is kids remember when their parents were screwed over, so you never know how this will play out.

other things billionaires like to do:

buy up farmland and tell us we shouldn't eat meat (Bill Gates)
buy universities to indoctrinate people
fund research with the conclusions they want about medicine, climate change, social mores, etc.
do away with law enforcement by getting non prosecuting DA's elected (George Soros)
funding election workers who only work for one side of the election (Zuckerberg)
tell us what we can and can't say on the web (Zuck, Jack, others)
work with China on how to spy on us
do away with binary s-xes
pay anarchists to burn down cities then buy up the land cheap
buy off politicians

We live in an age where billionaires gonna do what billionaires do.

And one of those things billionaires do is help their billionaire friends and kids.

You all are being too hard on these very deserving, wishfully accomplished and minute tested individuals.
Who else would stay on a sinking ship except the young and naïve! the only difference is they will walk away with treasure chest of gold.

Sales are pathetic, Quality in the gutter, Warranty Costs out of control, Employee morale tanked. Hmmm sure sounds like a good time to implement some good old fashioned nepotism and promote your kids. Any wonder why Ford can never manage to get its act together.

So, she started at Ford in 2017. Made Director by 2020. In 2021 getting on the BoD. Yeah, totally qualified. Face it, it's just getting the family members set up with a string of paychecks. That is about it.

What really true qualifications do these two kids have to be on a board of a large corporation? Your family name does not count as a qualification. Sorry. I don't have a ton of Ford stock but come next year I will vote to rid this family advantage regarding voting shares. It was bad enough when Billy was CEO before Allan who had to come in and clean up his mess. No Vision , No Plan , and the executives are nothing more than bobbleheads.
Look at the Train station as one previous poster called it the "Worlds Largest Crack House".. Look how that turned out?
