Today is my last day at Centene. Although, I haven't been logged on since the 10th of February. Anyway, I woke up feeling pretty good today. I am so ready to take my time and attempt to chose my next employer wisely. I hope you guys are doing ok out there. I know its easier said than done, but please get some rest, and rejuvenate. Then dust yourself off and try again.

If I had been notified I was losing my job, the first thing I would have done is started looking for a job. Actually, if i was nervous about my job, i wouldn't wait until they gave me the boot. It's still a pretty tight market out there and will get worse with the new employment laws. I'd advise you make getting a job your fulltime job. Been there personally. Good luck.
Those that were laid off and last day was this past Friday, which location or dept?
Yeap same here. What a horrible place. The folks that are staying are miserable too since they have to do my work and other people that are leaving. They are actually mad at me since they want to be free. That is so weird that a company is so bad that being laid off is actually a promotion. Can you even believe what I am writing.
Just to let you know that there are companies where people work together and have good morale.
To manage a company to have high morale takes significant leadership skills.
To manage a company to use fear as a motivator takes zero leadership skills.
Job market is tough but there are jobs you just have to find it. Maybe startups or small companies. Worse case, UHG is option just as a temp until later.
If Centene offers career development services as part of their separation package, I would encourage all of you to use it. I found it very helpful in offering tips to becoming a stronger candidate. GOOD LUCK!
Exactly the same for me. No access as of 2/10, but today is officially my last day. I'm going to start applying, cautiously, next week. Best to all on next steps ♡
