How does that grab you?

Someone needs to tell Att Warner Bros. is NOT a TECH company...Att should have stayed their lane!
I don't really care, and I get tired of the constant jealousy over CEO compensation here; it's just become a boring, constant, fruitless narrative.
BUT...I have to admit, this story made me smile. Just thinking about how this must go up Stanky's butt sideways...I can't wipe this smile off my face. The guy is such a narcissist I can't even fathom how much this must bother him.
With Kilar and Stankey's leadership HBO was able to avoid dominating the Golden Globe awards this year.
Another Stankey accomplishment to add to his growing list like overpaying for DTV to make their shareholders rich, failed acquisition of T-Mobile which aided T-Mobile in adding coverage, etc. John has made Disney, Netflix, Hulu and so many media companies so happy with his strategy for Warner Media
This is Stanley’s successor!
What a joke! Does Att understand they have a sinking ship with that guy as CEO? How Does
Stanky manage to make the absolute worst business decisions/hires?!? Jason Kilar was a complete nobody, tech boy, with zero Hollywood/media experience. Who hires a CEO, who's never been in the business to run the largest, most successful studio in LA? Oh yeah, John Stanky and his BOD.
Kilar has already sunk Warner, it's done. Kilar will be run out of LA within the year, as he's the most hated person in Hollywood. Att will ultimately sell the carcass of what's left of Warner Bros, to NBC/Comcast. NBC is laughing, waiting for Att to dump WB for pennies on the dollar, so they can scoop it up. What a bunch of losers at Att!
Yea $48M in stock options, which take 4 years to complete vest. And he got none of it in 2020.
I felt ripped off watching Wonder Woman for free on HBOmax.
Yes. And he is worth every cent of that–to Verizon. When it comes to hastening the Warner fire sale, he is Stankey's right hand man. It was his idea to go straight to stream with limited theatrical release due to Covid. What a brilliant man! They will lose money on every stream but since it's stream they'll make it up on volume. :-)
