Things have turned really somber at my location lately. We used to laugh all the time, now the only time that happens is when somebody makes a joke about how c-appy things are these days. How ironic is that? The latest round of layoffs seems to have hit everybody especially hard. I think we are about to see major attrition as people realize they don't have to be this unhappy.

If you can find grass somewhere else, it is definitely greener.
All I can say is what a waste of my time and talent. Glad to finally be free. Some great people. Working here takes its toll.
Our leaders don’t walk the SPIRIT talk and everyone sees their hypocrisy. All they care about is the ever-increasing size of their investment portfolios, managed free as a company perk.

Why would anyone be happy? The company and its leaders are a joke. Look who’s gotten promoted. We’re hosed. Bigly.

COP was a company I thought was one of the last GOOD companies....you know those places you WANT to work at....
I saw zombies walking to and from work and I saw first hand how petty some people were.
It was such a let down to see people you knew/respected audibly laugh or say pssshhh When you felt good about the company....
I now know why. If you are not neck deep up your bosses behind......you get tossed.
They value no one and cut any/everything......How can you thrive when you toss GOOD talent??

Better not have COP on your resume on my desk.....I hate that place and will never understand why they are such a good ole boy place when those times are dead!
One the new org structure was built to promote attrition, don’t leave without a severance. Even whammy laughed when asked about more layoffs. They will happen be patient get that severance check, it’s the only thing to hope for here. They demoralize good people , promote incompetence, and if you need to be cheered up ask them just how the new org structure is suppose to work.
