What's going on with the new HE subscription model that there is chatter about? Why would we try this as it's been an epic fail with Cengage.

For the same reason that Pearson has been circling the drain for the last 10 years- arrogance and hubris. We are Pearson!
Campus bookstore chains are failing. Legit questions about the technology and the execution, but pretty clear signals from the industry and consumer behavior that there's an opening.
Don't forget the utter absurdity that is print rental. We have managed to make it MORE difficult to sell content. Amazing!
Maybe because it was NOT the epic fail we were all told. Cengage HE did better than ours over the past year.
