They are especially bad tonight. Couldn't keep dinner down and I can feel my blood pressure is through the roof right now. I am trying to stay awake as long as I can as once I fall asleep tomorrow comes much too quick.

Solution : as others mentioned, DO NOT CARE about the work, the workload. That only affects yourself. As we’ve all seen, they couldn’t care less about you. So, why should you? You’ll find that it’s a better way to cope
Just Sunday nights? I have them every night except Friday and Saturday nights when I am too drunk out my skull to even care. I have lost 50 lbs in the last year due to not being able to keep food down and no appetite during workdays and work nights. I refuse to take meds on behalf of this company which is now why I am on first name basis with Les my liquor store clerk. I am NOT in good hands.
You need to DIY....take melatonin to get to sleep. You should get out and walk a mile a day, before work, after work whatever you can manage. there is the tried and proved micro-dosing, find out how many puffs it takes to deal with the stress. If you are in a state where that isn't permitted, just go get some CBD and chew on a few. You will get to that place where you don't worry about it.
This has been going on over 30 years with this company. Every Sunday night is a gut wrench for 99% of the workers.
Do what a lot of the rest of us do. Don't care!! Milk these jackoffs for all the pay you can, give minimal effort, laugh at their little town halls and corporate initiatives, and pray for a tasty severance later this year. Working here has actually become entertaining since I quit caring. I only now laugh at the hundreds of calls and chats holding. The responses we get are comical and give us a good laugh. I get joy in my heart for every policy I see lost. I hate this company so much that just the thought of its collapse excites me to no end. We are all going to get the shaft for India anyways so why not have some fun with it?
OP. Why? Just slack off and be mediocre. Heck I'm spending way more time brown nosing than developing my craft. if the assessment taught me one thing, it's that Allstate could give two sh–es about talent, skills abilities, loyalty, hardwork, customer service. I'm going to care as much as they care about me. So stop freaking out or go on paid stress leave. The successful people here play the game.

This is a real thing and it’s getting worse. I was leaving to go to dinner with my spouse and I started thinking about all I have to do at work starting on Monday. My chest tightened up and I felt like I couldn’t breath. Sleep is rare these days and when I do sleep it’s not good good. Really hoping to hear back from some jobs I have interviewed with so I can get out of here. Leaving this place after 20 years should not be this easy of a decision to make and I’m taking the first offer made to me.
I hear you both. Been on meds since last fall. It actually got worse after I found I wasn't laid off. The ones that were "saved" are actually the ones that got the shaft. I have not spoken to one person impacted by the lay offs that are not now happier and healthier after being laid off. Even with having to look for a new job and budget their severance and unemployment they are happier.
My weekends are spent recovering from the week and little more. When Sunday night comes I hope my newly prescribed anti anxiety medication helps me sleep. 19 years in the workplace and I’ve never felt this way, karma is coming for you Allstate.
