Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

How long will it take them to hire someone new?

A colleague resigned because he could no longer bear the pressure and everything that was happening here. His place is still vacant, and his work is assigned to others. Not surprising.

However, I don’t know how they intend to keep it that way, because people are already overwhelmed with work. In this case, they really should hire someone new.

I just wonder how long can that take? If they don’t hire anyone for that position, they will lose more employees, I’m sure of that.

Sorry about resigning, but I had to go and get on with my life. The place was a nightmare, and now I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it.

If you can’t see the giant red flag, I don’t know what to tell you. They are doing this intentionally. Your thanks? Your job moving to India, and you unemployed.

If an area has employees leaving and there is no effort ir plan to hire a replacement then that is a sure sign and guarantee that area is targeted for sweeping layoffs. Same thing was happening in RMBC last year and they got dismantled by lay offs and what was left has been absorbed by agency services.

Layoff's are coming - they aren't going to hire any replacements

Someone in my department resigned, and we were told that no one new would be hired.

So now everyone else is even more overworked.
