@6bmx+19JsAzFc, Why so much hate? Just fix things control wise at 301, vote out the bad officers and embrace the Consolidation Agreement as that was the real fruit out the "productive" relationship between union leaders at the time and GE.
Ha no wonder the ex ba hides lol He’s screwed. Can’t wait for that perp walk, wonder if they make tight orange high waters with g– loafers so he’ll feel normal in jail. Wonder who will get pinched from the company for paying them off this will be good. It’s been obvious for years happy something is finally getting done. Makes sense that the company suddenly changed how they voucher and then all the employee changes. Too late id–ts feds go way back.
The government authorities are conducting a very thorough investigation of 301 and others. They are the only ones who know the truth, we won’t know until the investigation is done. It’s been over a year and they are not done, common sense says it’s not going to be good. Read the DOL website for some indication of what a “slap in the wrist” is. We’re way past that. However, the positive energy, optimism, and extreme naivety on this thread is endearing. We’ll all know soon enough. Blind loyalty to a Union, ignoring the obvious, and not questioning what is said or asking for proof is ridiculous. If you want to defend your Union and members then you hold your representatives accountable. No arguing here guys, some of us know, some have been fooled, and others want to keep it as quiet as possible. The good thing is it’s out of all of our hands, none of us have a choice. We will all know everything when the authorities are done. Sit tight.

Coded wrong on purpose for the past few years and now trying to “fix” it. The authorities have the email from the company, even the “top secret” one from Nov 2019 explaining to leaders that they must now code different, that people must clock in and out, in other words, that everyone must now follow the agreement. They know it wasn’t followed prior and that the union was bought. Anyone who thinks putting a band aide on this mess or claiming ignorance will negate the unlawful activity that went on for years and nobody will be held accountable is only fooling themselves. People are going to be held accountable as they should be. The P saying that Von Roll did an audit and suddenly realized that 301 owes them $8,000 for years worth of lost time has been added to the ongoing list of suspicious activity. Huge red flag. Why question any of this? The authorities will tell us everything we need to know when they’re done.
@4mdu+19JsAzFc, the $ 8K, easy to explain. A union steward or other union role, codes pay improperly to Union Business Company Paid. Once it is properly coded to Union Business Union Paid if the role wasn't covered under the CBA for that, those monies are refunded to the Company, in this case Von Roll. $ 8K is chicken feed
301 and the company are “inextricably intertwined.” A few changes were made after corporate became aware of certain issues. In Dec 2019 an attempt to separate themselves from each other (at least on paper) was made. Extensive damage was already done. The federal authorities are sorting through (at least) 5 years back of financial transactions. I know 301 is in serious trouble. It’s common knowledge that a simple audit that begins in Jan 2020, turns into an investigation going 5 years back, and is not close to being complete over a year later is not a good thing. The $18,000 spent on independent auditors as well as the thousands spent on money owed to Highbridge and now, $8,000 to Von Roll, is extremely suspicious. They are trying hard to “fix” what they’ve done. The problem with that is the authorities won’t care. Criminals don’t get to commit crimes, try to fix their crime when they get scared, and then get a free pass when the crime is found out just because it was “fixed.” The investigation will tell us everything. Fortunately, we won’t have to rely on 301 to let us know. It will be public information once it’s over.

Investigation is on-going. It’s no longer a simple audit. It’s a criminal investigation. 301 is spending a fortune on their private auditors in an attempt to cook the books. They continue to try to “clean up” the financial mess made by the past BA and current P. Most recently giving $8,000 to Von Roll, claiming 301 owed it to them for not paying lost time for the past 2 years. Nobody knows what’s true and what’s not. That’s what the Fed’s are doing, they’re sorting out all the sh– and gathering the evidence to prove what’s actually true. We do know the lies and manipulation surrounding the money (past and present) is not fooling everyone, just the usual fools. Criminal investigations take time, sometimes years. Be patient. Everyone will know the results of the investigation when it’s complete.
