Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Tell Ford to keep it, no thanks.

Andrew Frick, Ford vice president of sales for the U.S. and Canada, did write and send an email to 4,500 customers on Tuesday who had their all-electric Mustang Mach-E vehicles delayed. Of those, 3,000 customers are still waiting.

The "quality check" delay will last an average of 30 days, though the "team is working to reduce that time," Ford spokeswoman Emma Bergg told the Free Press on Wednesday.

Customer delivery dates vary due to customer locations; all of these are in North America, she said.

"Quality is a top priority," she said. "Delivery timing of approximately 4,500 Mustang Mach-Es is being extended as part of our commitment to deliver a quality vehicle to customers."

Who would want a troubled vehicle. Quality used to be built in at Ford, not added after production.

Perfect storm for horrible launches; Explorer, Mustang, F-150.

the tried and true method of good management ala Henry Ford, Deming, Eisenhower is based on dealing with reality.

we are in a post reality world where we are forced to confess to lies like diversity is our strength, the election was free and fair, and your transmission fluid has gender now (or something like that.... I know it involves the trans)..... so is it surprising that we struggle to confront realities of problem solving and management?

EV's aren't great in the cold, when they catch fire, when you have to pay through the nose to buy them, or when it's time to dispose of the toxic batteries but you feel cool and moral driving them if you are a brainwashed id–t.

Quality is a top priority? If so, why is Ford back peddling on delivery and needs 30 days to make corrections. Have to be brave to be a new Mustang owner. Looks like you will be a member of Ford's petri dish on EV's to provide feedback on what's broke. A fool and their money are soon parted.
