It hasn't even been that long since the layoffs and we can already feel its effect profoundly in my team. Before It happened, every single one of us was motivated and giving it our all. Now, morale is destroyed. People are discouraged after having seen that hard work means little when it comes to choosing who'll be laid off. How do you even get over something like that?

In Centene, employee morale is low, no direction, no hope, everybody is talking about layoffs and waiting when is their turn, at this time, nothing we can do, just hang in there with the lazy, clueless supervisors and pretend you are drinking the koolaid, it is soo ridiculous their stupid emails about the company and their success! all is about the MN ceo money, bonus and his greed and bunch of id–ts he is surrounded and kissing his ring. Do not waste your time overthinking, just get your resume ready and start looking elsewhere, this is not good company to work for!
You don't get over it. You learn from it. Agree with the previous poster. Time to update your resume, dust off your contacts, and get back out in the market.
Apply elsewhere. Every company is not like this. Many actually value knowledge and experience.....
