Mandatory Return to Campus

How long until this directive gets pushed upon the workforce from the higher-ups (sitting in Dallas and in their offices on campus)?

I’m assuming tardiness, lack of badge swipes, and remote working will be factored into ranking and performance assessment somehow as well?

Any insights?

Don’t worry. Soon enough you can spend all the time you want to at home. When you are laid off. Listen to investor meeting today?

Swiger - there may be a “much larger amount of structural savings” on top of the thousands of jobs already eliminated. Woods chimed in that he was “confident there’s more opportunities” to save money.

Management is smart enough to know that 90% of you f— off at least 1/2 the time you are at home. Time to get back to work, s—as.

@awc People should be wearing masks in America when they are sick regardless of if there is a “pandemic”. I wish it was a cultural norm like in Asia. To me, it’s selfish to be in public areas around people when you know you are sick and not be wearing a mask. But then again, most Texans don’t use crowded Public transport like they do in Asia. If you are clearly sick in Japan or Korea and you aren’t wearing a mask, you are going to get some dirty looks.

Mask or no mask, I’m ready to get on with my life. If the Company wants to force people to return to the campus so be it. I’ll get my vaccine AND I will forever wear a mask. I found the mask helps me with my allergies and it protects me from those who don’t know how to cover their cough or sneeze. I take ownership of my own health!

Look on the bright side. With all of the headcount reductions social distancing will be easy.

Hopefully immediately. I’m sick of seeing your bedroom while I’ve been working every day.

Texas joins sixteen states that no longer require face coverings. Look at the statistics of states that do vs don’t require them. Look on a percentage of population outcome. They aren’t needed.

As an energy worker in Texas you can get vaccinated. This is not new news. Go get your vaccine shot and move on with life.

And if your kids aren’t allowed back in school yet you should be putting pressure on your school board. You are going to end up with stupid kids if you don’t. Even if your kids are keeping up they will be put in a class with a bunch of kids who didn’t keep up. How do you think that will turn out? They have to teach to the slowest student.
