I don't mind working for Arity now that we're remote. If that changes, I won't be returning to the office, too many other full remote gigs out there to have to return to doing that. Not having to commute into the hell hole that is Chicago is great.
The only thing that really s—s at Arity is all of the corporate BS we have to deal with to get our job done due to Allstate's incompetent leadership and draconian tech security policies. Simple work that should take hours, takes days or weeks because of all of the corporate red tape.
Allstate complains that we cost them tons of money with no return on investment yet, but then don't get the f out of our way to let us build products that will.
