I am unhappy at COP and I have been for a long while. I've been looking for a new job and I even had a few promising interviews but in the end I decided to stay put. Not sure why, I guess I'm at that age were "better the devil you know than the devil you don’t" is my main guide in decision making. I guess I'll have to wait for the company to force me to take that step by laying me off...

You are scared because you know that after all the time at COP, you won’t be able to compete anywhere else. In the past, you could go to Phillips or Texaco but that’s not an option. Maybe Citgo is hiring.
Please leave if you are unhappy. Staying will only make you a bitter employee and adversely effect your personal happiness and life in general.
You missed your chance to EOI and get a decent package. We all know COP follows EXXONMOBIL and will copy them in attempt to show that we’re big players too. Next time there’s a layoff, expect a much reduced severance. We’ll be lucky to get 3 months salary regardless of work experience.
Enjoy the new stress and unprecedented levels of passive aggressive hostility from your coworkers!
Please stay. We need the body count to allow another hi-pot to get an above average performance rating.
Please leave.
depending on where you are....if you're in Bartlesville! GOOD LUCK!!! Enjoy commuting to Tulsa!
Man up, or woman up
Pretty obvious what's happening here.
Poor Baby....feel better?
