The way these layoffs were done makes it clear that it wasn't about performance or (lack of) experience but it was all about the almighty dollar. Which is a lousy way to run any company. Putting profit above all is guaranteed to destroy the company in the long run. When all the best are gone, who's going to be doing the work that's generating profit for the company? Certainly not the management.

If they had any honor they would rename the company social security and make sure all the tired, weak and needy are paid a good salary. But instead the jerks running the place just want to pay the people who are doing the hard work.
The almighty dollar is what makes businesses stay in business, just an FYI. The almighty dollar also allows businesses (and people) to purchase or pay for things. who is it that ran cxo down, Will from Concho ?

The new plan isn’t to run a successful company. It’s to purchase successful companies, bleed them dry, sell them, and then purchase new ones. I believe the word is parasite.
It IS about the almighty dollar and perceived profit. Too bad some of this perceived profit doesn’t actually exist. We can’t run a sustainable business on fictitious numbers...
