Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

I know AS has their loyal sycophants and just to be clear, this post is NOT meant for you. It’s never too late to start over if that is what you want to do. I know the past year has been extremely difficult for everyone. In every industry there have been layoffs and its made employees in most companies feel miserable, anxious and fearful. Add to that lack of job satisfaction and for those who are in their late 40s to early 50s- the mindset that it is too late to start over. However, if you’ve been working that long in any career then it’s a pretty good bet that you have strong skills and excel at what you do. Don’t be afraid to take that step to free yourself from here. I have to tell myself daily that I can do it, and I am out there searching like the rest of them. We can do this, we don’t have to feel trapped at a company that no longer appreciates us.
