I've been here for nearly two decades and I'm now praying to be laid off when they resume with cuts. What does that tell you about the state Centene is in now? If I'm feeling this way, I can only imagine how newer employees who weren't here when this was a decent place to work feel...

I definitely echo your sentiments. I am praying they lay me off. I am legacy WellCare. I have desperately been searching for a job else where.
I had been there many years as well when I was let go in February. From what I hear from the folks still working they just about all echo your sentiments. That's what happens when you hire inadequate management and let them rule without checks & balances. The implosion from that ineptness should be very clear, very soon.
It was a nightmare! I know what you are feeling.
