Even if you know there's a way to do something much more efficiently and with better results, keep it to yourself. Going to your manager will only result in a talking to (!there's a reason things are done the way they are and it's not on you to change that!) and a target on your back for the future. Learn from my mistakes, folks.

Not true, I have suggested better ways to do things in delivery and with enough documentation to prove that it is really better we have changed how things are done. It's an up hill battle but if your persistent and have proof that its really better than management listens.
Don't be a push over , if you think something can be done better keep at proving it!
Okay boomer.
You’re living in a mid-20th century fantasy tale if you think your “hard work” will benefit you or the company. You need to step into the 21st century and realize the new paradigm:
1). The company does not want to succeed in the traditional model. It is here to make obscenely wealthy people even richer.
2). “Hard working” people are neither needed nor welcome. They only cause morale problems for the masses, and are counter-productive toward the overall corporate plan to go broke.
3). “Whiney” people do not gloat. Successful people smart enough to see the game, know the rules, and exploit dumb people to their advantage gloat. Aka.. me.
4). People who cannot understand the new labor model, and are still operating under outdated beliefs in productivity and commitment, are the first to be laid off.
5). No one here is complaining about “not being paid what I’m worth”. On the contrary... considering the minimal amount of substandard work I do, I am WAY overpaid. That’s why I stay. And that’s why I won’t be laid off. And that’s why I will retire in good health with a nice fat 401(k).
I’ll put in the effort I need to do a good job, and if I don’t like what follows I’ll leave and find a new job.
What I refuse to do is be whiny child on forums and gloat about how I sit around making the company worse. Because that would pathetic.
“People like the posters below are a big part of the reason as to why the DXC culture is bad...”
Are you referring to the post with 8 upvotes or the one with 18 upvotes? Either way, both posts are spot on. You, on the other hand, are swimming in bitter disillusionment. If you don’t relax, kick back, and put forth zero effort for this joke of a company, you’re headed for a heart attack or nervous breakdown.
People like the posters below are a big part of the reason as to why the DXC culture is bad and taking such a long time to fix. Imagine having such little self worth that you do minimal work and then gloat about online. I really do pity how sad and miserable your lives must be. You must not only be lazy, but also rubbish at whatever you do, because I see no other reason you wouldn't find a new job, something meaningful that pays what you think you deserve.
DXC's biggest mistake over the last few years is all the losers it has hired or failed to WFR.
So very true - talent, innovation, showing initiative will only get your line managers and the yes managers back up and they will become jealous along with your fellow colleagues in toxic environment of DXC.
Best keep quiet, do bear minimum, don't help co'workers if possible and just collect your pay cheque and sit until get WFR or sit in DXC until retirement
You are 100% correct. I thrive here by doing as little as possible, and I actually support and promote inefficient and counter-productive systems.
I’m not here to prove my worth, showcase my education, or make any changed. I’m here to MAKE MONEY. Period. If you are here for any other reason, you are chasing rainbows.
