Thread regarding ADP layoffs

This is old news

I worked for ADP for more than 20 years. Fear based management was always used. They didn't seem to care that this tactic would drive many people away, and not only the best. The attitude was "if you can't stand the heat, then get the he** out!"

ADP considered it a high privilege for employees to work for it. When people would quit, ADP demonized them and it was unwise for the remaining employees to mention the "dearly departed" names. If you did, then you could see the rage build in many managers' eyes. Departed employees were considered traitors and turncoats who didn't have the interest or stamina to work for this illustrious company.

I was one of those good employees that worked very hard. After reading all these posts, clearly, I was either stupid or working for the wrong division as I was always busy and loafing was not an option. I worked for ADP for multiple decades, but leaving was not a choice. Many of us would have stayed longer but were deemed too expensive. We feel sorry for those left behind and seeing what we built getting torn down.

ADP is the Kmart of Payroll. It's a joke. The good employees left long back!
