Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Is it possible to do more multitasking than we do?

I literally need ten more hands and five mouths to successfully do all the multitasking here, without exaggeration. They are just testing our limits, right?

Do you still need to use the liability tool for unclear liabilities? That was the biggest waste of time ever.

I’m already thinking of Monday morning on a Friday ! This job used to be a great 45-50 hour a week job , but has turned into a 6-7 day a week job working from home. There’s no way to keep up with the new duties and roles they demand from us. The customer suffers and hopefully will drop Allstate for all the delays and underpaid , delayed claims .

OP: I’m with you 100%... I’m doing the work of three people and am still getting told I’m not doing enough. The demand for people to work OT on top of that. It’s ridiculous. work/life balance, if it was ever a thing before, is non-existent now. I think that with TW saying in his last town hall “there will be significantly less people working by the end of the year than there are now” was definitely indicative of part of their plan to over work us to to the point we just give up and quit. And the struggle to even get up in the morning to do this job, is real!! It’s not ok.

Allstate senior leadership simply doesn't care about your feeling overworked and stressed. It is of no importance to them. If areas get to the point where the impossible expectations cannot be met then they will hire five Patels in Pune to do your job and their salaries combined will still be less than yours per year.

The American worker at Allstate has already lost. Game over.
