I don’t even remember why I applied for this job at all? At the time I couldn’t even imagine what it would look like a few years later.
Honestly, from this perspective, I hate the day I came here because I was considering another option, which was less attractive at the time, but looking at it now it was better than Anthem in every sense.

Likewise here, I enjoyed many many years at Blue Cross\Wellpoint. I was always paid well, insurance back in my day ( I'm older than most of you probably) our insurance was free and 100 % ,no deductibles lol. In addition Blue Cross invested a lot in me getting me trained, certified, attending technical classes, travel. Seminars, all on their dime. In return..well here I am 38 years later. Yes the company is evolving. Dont like it now either. Like other posters here have emphasized get all the training you can get get college paid thru Anthem, any agile certifications, etc are all great for you personally. Typically I would not have taken these courses due to the cost, but Anthem covered it. Always try to stay positive, get your time in and move on, Loyality here is a one way street.
I certainly don't regret taking the job that I did. It put me in a position to realize what I wanted to go back to school for, and so long as its on Anthem's dime who cares. But yes, this company does not value on-shore workers anymore and it continues to push more and more work overseas. Get what you can from your current position, and then get the F out.
You mean (F)ail K. Boudreaux? Snarky I am :)
I enjoyed a lot of my time at Anthem and for the majority of the time. It was good but the past few years is everything everyone posted on here being the problem. There are better companies who value their employees much more than Anthem. Anthem says one thing but they are doing the total opposite. When you have almost 15000 offshore brought in that short of time, try to jam people in offices, and completely have no rhyme or reason tobyour initiatives but to let go your employees then you are one sick company. Gail looked promising but she has failed terribly. Many posts on here pegged it already.
