So I get emails and phone calls from my manager about doing the Glint survey. I lie. I know that not filling it in marks my card. But if I do fill it in. My feedback comes back to my manager and we as a team are asked what are we going to do to fix it. The scores also come back and the manager starts trying to work out who is dragging the team down and boom you're WFR'd.
So better to fill it in and be a target or better not to be and be a target? Either way I'm screwed.
Based on previous years all they're interested in is how many people responded. It then gets turned over to management who just care about where they are on a league table.
Why don't the people at the top fix the problems rather than turning it over to a management who just bully you into saying your happy (for fear of losing your job) or just get rid of you because your making the team/function/region look bad.
Mr Salvino needs to stop these league tables that create unintended consequences. He needs to take ownership of the feedback at the top. And he should ensure employees right to not provide feedback is respected.
Stop the bullying.
