Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Does anyone know

What happens if you don’t sign off on the performance review in talentconnection because you don’t agree?

_

I inquired about this but no one knew how to give me a precise answer, and now I see that someone else inquired about this situation on this forum as well. I am totally dissatisfied and I am very interested in this, so I hope no one minds that I transferred this question to a new thread to make it more visible.

It goes to the manager for signature on a specific date and then the manager signs. Typically manager inserts a comment that it was discussed with you on a certain date.

If you do not sign your PDS the company does reserve the right to withhold your merit raise (as puny as it may be). Now in my 18 years at Allstate I have only seen this done twice in different areas and both more than 5 years ago and was department specific. While not signing your PDS has no real bearing at all it does open the door for the good hands to clasp shut and not apply your 3% raise if they choose to.

Signing doesn't matter. I haven't signed mine since 2017. Aside from one reminder a year from my leader have never heard anything about it.

I can tell you from experience absolutely nothing. The signature is pretty much symbolic. I even went to CERT (HR) and was told my agreement on the PDS is not required. I was pretty much branded a troublemaker by my manager and DM's. I don't really see the point of them having us sign it after all that but whatever.
