I want to a sales conference with Nike, was part of strategic accounts, I got taken advantage of... I confided in a teammate from customer service about it now called “marketplace operations” he tried to help but senior boss who is still in role told him that associating with me was bad for his image...

Oh wow...I have three stories to tell BUT i cannot share because I will be identified. They are so messed up though. My dumb–s manager is aware of each and never did anything.

Definitely the white badge/black badge thing which is a culture k–ler and ends up creating a ton of resentment. I worked on a team that was 90% long term ETWs and we had a completely clueless admin who kept sending emails meant for FTEs to the entire team. Nothing like continually getting your nose rubbed into the fact that you were a second class citizen even though you've been at Nike for years. On top of that, we were always told there wasn't headcount available, but our senior leader would always seem to be able to find jobs for his friend's kids on our team.
This is terrible. And I'm in Marketplace Ops. Have you taken it above their boss?
Not sure what’s more disturbing - being taken advantage of or a senior leader advising your friend not to associate with you... so much for customer service being the nice guys #dotheRightThing
Attended global workshop for a program that ultimately got defunded (after millions spent on McKinsey BS that went nowhere) - during a trip to Amsterdam my coworker outed me at a public dinner, as a POC I reached out to a peer for support - this individual was quick to tell my Sr DIR that I wasn’t a team player and didn’t understand that perception is reality - my lesson?
