Several our team members quit recently and joined current Allscripts customers. I do not see any issues with that. I quit from Allscripts about three weeks ago. The documents I received from HR did not say anything regarding to noncompetitive agreement.
I do know that customers cannot hire a current employee as it violates their contractual agreements. I thought if you quit, you couldn’t accept work for an allscripts client for a year. If you got let go, however, that was completely different, as I know a few people that have gotten picked up immediately by current customers. I highly doubt that allscripts could enforce this legally at this point as they are struggling financially so much.
I just quit from Allscripts too. I do not think there is such agreement. By the way, is there any products Allscripts built can compete? I cannot find one.
