Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Hindsight

I left Cameron as soon as Scumbrj bought us. Blind luck on timing but best move I ever made and am very happy. I stay in contact with my old Cameron buddies that are still there. They are miserable and it’s been a slow ride to career hell. Sometimes you just have to walk away for your own good.

Thanks for sharing. That’s 15 seconds of my life I will never get back.

If I had left years ago I sure wouldn't be posting on this page.

Hear the same from many I left behind at Cameron! More so than the SLB management being the problem is the former Process Division Managers in NA still there somehow and in Management Executive Leadership roles that are the problem in the VPS Division. Little to no knowledge around valves nor the industry for that matter. Four to name a few in Houston taking a second attempt for success after they sunk the division they came from the first go around in North America and other counties. Sad and disappointing for many still left as the Cameron Valve brands die a slow death that they seem to be unaware of!
