Although m1 raked havoc with layoffs I believe the Mackenzie strategy migration to the cloud was better than m2 legacy information Technology outsourcing Ito
Do you vote for m1 strategy or m2 strategy or something else

There are these types of law firms
WIG whatever I get. This is the bottom law firm. Dxc should not be wig
Transactional law firms. These might be creating trust, buying and selling a home, divorces, incorporating your business
Civil litigation or defense litigation. This requires expertise. This is the business that DXC should be in
Just because my client wants to buy a taco I am McDonald's and I only sell hamburgers and recently added on gourmet coffee to compete with Starbucks but I don't need to start selling tacos they can go to taco Bell
It's not just looking at the margins or the customer it's looking at what is your expertise what value can you provide to the customer and what can you do better than anybody else
Dxc is just mismanaged
Mikey 2 has got to go
He is over his head
I don't think it's as straight forward as one thing or another.
Like any business you just need to focus on your margins. If whatever piece isn't yielding enough margin and you can't fix that then maybe it's time to stop doing it.
But that piece isn't necessarily a type of business, it could be just a contract or client or region.
The precision and care of picking the meat from the bones was never taken though. Too much demanded too quickly, too many bad decisions.
The ITO business has very small profit margin versus legacy support business by M N C s who have profit margins for exceeding services business.
I could see merging all the ITO businesses together including big blue spin-off. But I just don't see how they are going to make money
I understand keeping Ito business for cash flow FCWFfree cash flow and stable stock price but I don't see it as a future
I still believe as painful as it was Lowry and Mackenzie was right. Fire 200,000 people keep the best 60,000
Migration to the cloud, to become a services only company. Are you full of horsesh*t, DXC makes most of its money with infrastructure
You are asking for comparing piles of sh–?
Really?
