Do you think more cuts are coming to property and casualty this year? I’m sure there are. This is just speculation.

Which departments do you think if so?

Do you actually work for Allstate? Because it is “speculation” it’s already in place with the names of the first cut in place 🙄

We agents are required by contract to service any Allstate policy if requested by a policyholder regardless of how and what channel it is sold. Must like the customer contact centers must service agency sold policies. Refusing to service direct channel policies will just give Allstate a conduct contractual matter to simply take your book of business out from under you with no compensation or buyout whatsoever. I have personally seen this same exact thing done by another agent and he got not a penny for his book due to his breach of contract for refusal to service.

I won’t service any policies written thru the direct channel. They buy online, you go online for you billing or service questions.

Plenty of cuts coming to the EA Channel. Agents are competing with direct channel where rates are less. This will come back to haunt them in claims and retention.

There should not be as many overall as last year. However with the NatGen purchase rolling in that will hit Encompass hard considering NatGen management is in charge of the rolling into Allstate. Also claims will take a lot of hits as 2021 is the big year for the Allstate India claims center to be fully rolled out. Also CCC will see continued movement to India in 2021.

2022 is the year agency services sees their big hits as the agency channel starts to be dismantled piece by piece as the Transformative Growth into the more direct initiative and model takes off.
