I wonder what we did to deserve to be treated like this? This is such a shame, I don’t know what else to say about them lowering our wages. As if laying off workers is not enough. I wonder if there is any reasonable justification for such a move? They probably expect the workers to be satisfied and grateful to have a job here at all.

I don't make any more in pay than I did when starting with Ecolab. The budget numbers are basically out of reach and corporate leaders are out of touch. The CEO makes 360x more than the average employee. The prices keep rising and the service we provide is declining. This company used to be one you'd be proud to say you worked for and retire with after 25 years of service. Now it's just a stepping stone to something better.
All about the numbers my friend. Stock price is the only thing that matters with Ecolab. I declined the change in position as unemployment would pay almost as much. Also everyone who turned down the new position would have been eligible for the severance but DM’s were told to not to tell anyone.
