I’m taking a wild stab here BUT I bet they have a brilliant plan, layoff more of the lowest paid workers in the company that also keep the locomotives on the track, it’s genius.

They wont be at 60% no way no how. The answer will be more craft layoffs and probably hire more supervision. Its a joke, there is a trainmaster at our yard who, in his entire shift, does nothing but watch crews switch cars and then complain they arent working fast enough and subtly suggest they "bend" the rules to switch faster....
