Always look for a new job after one year. Only apply to jobs you know you have a good chance at getting- otherwise if your boss knows about it and you don't get the job- you'll be on the yearly layoff list.
Never go to Anthem HR to complain- company doesn't even pretend to protect you in a hostile environment.
Don't trust Anthem C level employees- the ultimate snakes in the grass.
Don't volunteer ideas or information- grow from within.
Don't do employee surveys- anonymity isn't guaranteed
Never file a confidential report- anonymity almost always revealed.
Beware of Anthem IT.
Don't gossip with your coworkers about anything- there is always potential for betrayal.

I agree with everything said. Great pretense of a hr process. Nothing confidential. Smoke and mirrors. Dont do survey or use engage app to provide feedback. Dont us teams app if not work related. Keep opinions to self. Don"t complain to management or higher. Doesn't matter what knowledge you have-if they identify you as bucking status quo. .....
"why can't you trust Anthem IT?"
The original comment was "Beware of Anthem IT" and I assume the poster basically meant "don't work in Anthem IT." The leadership is horribly misguided, and only cares about shifting work to the low-cost, low-quality Legato offshore subsidiary. If you are a US citizen, Anthem IT is a very hostile place to work – and don't expect to have a job for very long, as it will likely get transferred to Legato in the near future.
why can't you trust Anthem IT?
You have to always assume that any move you make at anthem (intentionally NOT capitalized) will be known by management at all levels, and HR will never protect you. This is why I never once took an employee survey - they don't want honesty.
Sad but very true. I thought that applying for jobs was confidential. Didn't know HR informed your manager.
What a sad place to be!
