Just received notice that 28 offices are closing in 2021 as part of the transformation growth plan. All workers are being moved to home based workers.

I don’t want the long commute again. Please keep me home.
He cant post which offices because he doesn't know. Throws this information out there to upset people more than they already are. STOP THE NONSENSE
I work at the hudson Ohio location and am hopeful I can stay remote. 🤞🏻
You “just” received notice of all the offices closing? Do you really think you are that important? You’re not relevant and no one cares. Everyone is already aware of all the office closures coming as well as the layoffs. Do you have nothing better to do than trying to be relevant about the sh– show Allstate is now??
Thanks to the last poster. I'm actually excited to return to hudson.
In regards to source for the Hudson information I can be considered the source. I obviously am not going to reveal and out myself on this site.
I know they are prepping the building for a COVID safe return in the next 3-4 months for full departments. In addition protocols and guidelines are being finalized for daily in office operations to have in place with the return of in office work operations in Hudson. Also I know that there are a small number of people working daily in the Hudson center that could not work from home for one reason or another.
Also to move the server infrastructure to another location would be very very costly and not feasible. The costs monetarily and to possible business disruption would negate any financial benefits of shutting down Hudson.
Several CORE support employees lost their jobs yesterday shortly after this announcement. Since there is no longer an office to service they no longer need our services.
To the last poster about Hudson, are you going off your opinion or do you have a source?
Hudson will not shut down ir be closed. Hudson is a main infrastructure and server hub and one of Allstate's lowest cost properties to own and maintain. And they are already re-doing the insides to conform to COVID work conditions and there is word that they may have some departments back in office there by end of second quarter. There are already a small handful of employees working back in that building now.
Is Hudson, Ohio an office that will be sold/closed? It is in Allstate’s best interest to close or sell these buildings anyways. It’ll save them more money and let the employees that work for them with already low morale, to at least enjoy more work/life balance.
Good. I am in NJ and don't want to go back.
False, some auto core workers we given their notices today.
From what I've been told so far (an employee at Allstate), in Florida, only the Coconut Creek office will remain. Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville are expected to close down. Don't quote me on that, but you may want to ask around. I only know about Florida, though.
I heard that Alllstate purchased All of the homes across Sander’s road. They’re going to build an office there for whoever is left, and most likely sell off all the buildings. They will probably put another Glenn type development on all of that property.
HO and Charlotte are downsizing too. Rumor is that the Mart will close completely.
Workers will be home based or return to the office only 1-2 days per week .
Good, who wants to go back to the hostile, drab, cubicle farm anyway?
Could you post which offices?
Yup. That will work.
