In about 2 weeks we'll be seeing a lot more crying on here by the people who chose not to work but get paid anyway on the 25th. Talked into getting fired by people bitter, rightly so, about getting laid off and people who say they'll "strike" but not really do it.

Uh, commenter below me... you mean people that DO it are going to be fired.. not those that don’t..
Just don't come back here crying you lost your job because you decided to not do it. If you're in Illinois you're at will, they don't even have to give you a reason.
“ Retaliation against us is illegal.”
No it’s not. You can and will be fired for protesting or refusing to work or “mysterious” connection issues or any reason or no reason.
I agree with OP. I'm virtually sitting with several colleagues who routinely are late, having issues with headset ... Numerous reasons they can't work. Can't even clear minimum tasks. Then complain they're being targeted for a whole of reasons. Is this a majority of bus, not by a long shot. But enough that everyone else gets burdened. I need to work but I'm also assuming I'll be moving on, my choice or not, and planning accordingly. There more than just one side to these stories
Power through silence.! If 1/25 doesn't garner improved conditions then next time it will be a week! They don't seem to understand that we are Allstate and we run the show. We decide when the wheel turns. Retaliation against us is illegal.
I am curious how this will play out next week. The way I see it, it will mostly be the younger employees who feel like they have nothing to lose who will rebel. The more tenured ones who are close to retirement or earning too much probably don't want to risk any consequences.
Whether you rebel or not, I wish you all good fortune and hope you all get out of there somehow.
Take a stand for what's right, stop being treated like livestock. Stop putting up with abusive behavior, stop accepting mistreatment all for the corporate fat cats to prosper. Stay United for once, this company can't fire hundreds or thousands of people right now with the existing staffing issues. Employer retaliation is illegal, keep well documented in the future, names, dates, times.
The work environment is that bad in claims and auto/property inspects.

You could be right I guess we'll see
