Here come more layoffs...

They extended last days for prior departments that suffered massive cuts. They clearly don’t think business decisions through before doing them, or know the volume they are working with. Not only is it hasty and unethical, but it’s embarrassing as a company that truly doesn’t make informed business decisions.
All for the sake of trying to save money. And then realize they screwed themselves over with their hasty decisions.
There are many more changes coming, and some inside info agents are really going to feel this one.
Allstate has had a lot of support for their agents over the years, first they reduced the numbers of Field Sales Leaders, then they cut marketing support out of the regions, then the reduced Field Sales Leaders even more and now call them Sales Market Leaders, and cut regional support.
In the next phase to reduce agent support Allstate is going to cut the recruiters who assist agents to find staff, expect that cut to be mid next year and be quiet as it will be just a few dozen recruiters and a couple managers.
And when the next round of layoffs comes around....if your expecting the same severance package, you have to be nuts if u think that’s a given. Get yourself ready because severance isn’t a benefit, it’s a gift that doesn’t have to be offered.
Just saying
I expect my role to be gone in 2-4 months. Just wondering if they will still do the warn and 60 days this time around. Done so poorly the first round, having to hire people back because you eliminated an entire region of employees and no one noticed?
I wish they’d take volunteers.
Source????
I didn’t, like.. at ALL. Pick me, pick me!!
