Until the pandemic is over what are they going to actually be doing. They have essentially done nothing for almost a year.

Nope! They are here to stay.
Will begin filling in positions in the markets that were being tested without techs.
I believed they are salaried. The ones that visit our club like to extoll the company line and go on about just Ipad the job and everything will be peachy keen.
So chances are like many of Walmart Inc contracted services we have to deal with it until they contract expires.
Can someone explain what the vine tech guys do? I’ve been working in produce in my club for about 6 months now and have only seen them once and have no idea what they actually do?
They've been getting paid to do what Fresh leads and Managers should be doing for a very long time.
Yup I think their on the chopping block because they are literally getting paid for doing nothing.
