I’m a former and damn glad to be one. I got fired along with my receiving manager a couple years ago. I had a job in 48 hours of being fired. And yes, I now do make more than I made at BN. I’ve had 2 raises , and a promotion since I started.
Make fun all you want ( jealous much ?) I’ve done just fine !

I would never tell a prospective job I worked at BN. They all know about how the company had skidded into the gutter. I’m trying to get them to hire me .

I would say ...” I am a former from B&N and I was responsible for the “ downfall “ , and they would say , “ Wow “ , and I would say , I wrecked the joint , and they would say “ That shows real initiative and leadership , and you are awesome , and I would say “ yeah “ , and they would say ......” you’re hired ! “
Well , I got a job at 10 times my rate at B&N and 26 weeks vacation and I work from home and I was Employee of the Month 14 times last year . Things are great now .

That’s so funny all theEx/ Former booksellers have gotten better jobs in better companies and are much happier.

Couldn’t be happier that I’m supposedly to blame for BN’s c-appy Christmas. You empower us formers too much. But me, I’ll take it. Glad to know I don’t have to do anything to have so much influence.

Well all i can say is it was an amazing week....lots of sales and the stores did an amazing job....there is no way any surprises are coming other than we have beaten the worst and will be strong in 2021

I just walked through our mall, it's like a week day morning. So dead. The stores must be there rent free.
