You need to be strongly disciplined to work here. We are constantly overloaded with various expectations and extra work that it can get overwhelming. Almost from the beginning I was told to expect to be micromanaged and sure enough - it has become the norm. Things can get stressful and management shows very little concern for any issues that employees may have - including being bullied. I wish I could leave now, but as it stands I just have to bide my time until something else crosses my path.

Just to clarify what I was comparing below.
I was an account administrator there
that left a while back.
The workers there were primarily in the entry level type.
In case that wasn't clear to everyone.

I will refrain from posting on other areas.
I agree we are in different and difficult times. However this was happening during the so called best of economic times. The economy was roaring back then and there were plenty of complaints outloud. All that energy was spent wasted on complaining about the place where they worked, rather than providing good suggestions for improvement in the process. That says a lot I think, no matter the best or worst of times. I understand people have other issues or whatever, but this had nothing to do with the economy which was booming back then. The position of account administrator was a lot more stressful and had more pressure. Although I don't want to compare, it is just the truth basically. They had stayed at the same place so long, they had no idea how easy they had it, compared to other places I've worked for.
I will say that I noticed a business consultant position posted earlier a few months back. A business consultant from what I know streamlines and looks to make more things efficient. So that is a clue they will close this place or go fully remote. Likely sublease or lease the place to someone else. Again, they were paying thousands a month in parking, which certainly adds up to keep this place that had barely anyone in there during each week. A lot of the employees only came in a few days out of the entire week. The other time they were remote, so why keep it. I wouldn't keep a place that has twenty five that could easily fit one hundred, would you. They could also get more qualified employees through remote work rather than depend upon the local population which may complain or not have the sufficent skills for this type of work they were doing.
In trying to follow these posts, all of these same Woodland Hills comments added to every post are distracting. Clearly you are very unhappy with your time there, but please, we are all trying to survive these tumultuous times and it would be helpful to monitor these posts without all the Woodland spamming. I say this with kindness, but honesty.
What city was this in?
I was an account administrator at the woodland hills location that shared a building with anthem.
The anthem crew came in with a better attitude and looked more happy.
There is no reason to keep that division open since you have about twelve people coming in for a room that fits at least seventy five. No reason to pay for space when they work remotely during part of the week while some do not come in at all. I expect they will layoff because they also have to pay thousands for parking for all the employees that do come in part of the time.
Someone posted this review about this place on the indeed website.
It is a harsh criticism but I agree with it completely.
You can find the original review on the indeed website. Avoid going there at all costs, if you are someone that has an opportunity to go there and you are reading this forum.
You can read what I posted below or look at the original review which says the exact same thing.
The aetna in woodland hills, california is a collection of employees who have been there for a long time. Meaning all processes are outdated, which means no innovation, and work is doubled. No one is open to new ideas or processes. Senior employees feel that their time with the company allows for them to be unprofessional with no consequence. Management is afraid to speak up and correct those behaviors.. this makes anyone new feel uncomfortable. The work could be less if their processes were improved. But, the environment is absolutely toxic and the pay is awful. I would not recommend working there.
