I’ve reached a point where it doesn’t matter what day it is or even the year - nothing will change. We all keep hearing how great things are going then we are hit with another round of layoffs. I’ve learned by now that when you see upper management or even the ELT moving their lips - nothing comes out of it except honey coated BS. I’m here to do my job, get paid and if I get RIFed so be it - I’ll be ready.

People ask why the cows dont try to escape on their way to the slaughter house. Look around who is left at Windstream, they arent trying to escape smh
The check probably won't clear the bank for long. That's the problem. Some of you are enjoying the easy life working from home and seeing your check go in the bank. You should be preparing for the inevitable but if you prefer to sit idle for a short period of time and not prepare then hard times may follow soon. Good luck.
AKA SSDD - As long as the check still clears the bank, I would say consider yourself lucky. And for most, working from home is just an added bonus. Life is good for now - enjoy it.
Move on and make it happen. Stop frustrating here and make a difference. Understand the layoff.com doesn't care nor does Windstream. Get to gettin.
