Don't feel too bad for IT. They make 6 figure salaries, have been bonused for years, and will all get pkgs. Worry about the people in ops who get piss-poor pay, wear 20 hats, & have NEVER really been valued.
I had the distinct honor to work closely with many in IT who will be soon be leaving. Together we capably grew the IT plumbing and systems and support as it was to take on large growth and be ready for new technologies, providing to the evolving needs of the business. Best wishes to each of you and my hats off to sticking it out as you did - you are some of the most competent and professional people I had the pleasure to work with. -BK
The CG transition is pretty much a dumpster fire as well, tickets that some of us could have solved in days are taking weeks, and issues that used to be solved in minutes fall into the SNOW abyss

Ha! As we knew this would happen one day at Follett. They offshore the whole IT dept. Veterans of knowledge get dragged along for 4 months to make sure CAPG receives the proper training. What a joke! Let's not mention all the useless management that was kept on Follett salary to pass blame of any issue. The stores will suffer until the doors close. There is no longer and support or willingness to help.
