Does anyone know if the back room associates will receive a raise?

You would think everyone would be wanting to get in to backroom PM shift - easiest job in the world basically just clear the dock and legit do nothing else as all deliveries come in the morning.
Backroom got the first raises when everything was restructured. Merchandisers deserve a raise they are the last of all departments to get a raise.
Sounds like your management is failing you due to lack of leadership and direction. Why are they not involved?
Our 2nd shift is a joke .. they act like they are over worked ... we are lucky if they do 1 DC... we have to do a dc, live trucks , local vendors, claims, rtvs, ups and FedEx.. pay the bills do all the paperwork and liquidation... make sure the pallet trailer is picked up ... not sure why we even have another shift . One of them doesn’t even drive a lift ... not sure what she does during her shift
Ya because dayshift does it all! The job ain’t the hardest job I’ve had but it’s a lot of responsibilities... and we have to drive the forklifts, pay bills, do ordering for club and deal with all the vendors and we are running 2 departments!
Easy job. No need for a raise. Evening shift back room doesn’t even know how to do claims a year and a half later. What a joke.
I wish they would because there is a lot of responsibility involved. In our club there are only two of us who do EVERYTHING!! The other two just unload trucks. Unfortunately we will not be getting a raise.
